The trial of Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), has been moved from the Abuja Federal High Court to the Department of State Services (DSS) headquarters.
This unusual move was ordered by Justice James Omotosho to allow for an important inspection: a shipping container that Kanu allegedly used to bring a radio transmitter into Nigeria.
This transmitter was reportedly intended for broadcasts on Radio Biafra. Kanu is currently facing terrorism charges because of his efforts to create an independent Biafra.
