Saudi Pro League club Al Hilal has intensified its pursuit of Super Eagles star striker Victor Osimhen, submitting a formal bid of €70 million to Napoli. This significant offer, consisting of a fixed fee of €65 million plus an additional €5 million in add-ons, was confirmed by Italian transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano on Thursday via his official X account. The decision now rests with Napoli regarding the Nigerian international's future.
This official bid comes on the heels of earlier reports from Wednesday, also by Romano, indicating that Al Hilal had already initiated discussions with Osimhen's representatives regarding his salary and personal terms. The Saudi club is reportedly prepared to offer the prolific forward a staggering €30 million per year in wages, seemingly unfazed by his €75 million release clause at Napoli.
Osimhen, currently on loan from Napoli, enjoyed a sensational season with Turkish giants Galatasaray, illuminating the Super Lig with 25 goals and five assists in just 29 games. His impressive performances helped Galatasaray secure a domestic double, winning the Turkish Super Lig title and the Turkish Cup. He is set to return to the Italian club this summer, where his contract is currently slated to expire in 2026.
